I'm so grateful that I was able to spend Father's Day this year with my Father. And my Father's Father. And the Father of my children. And my beautiful son, who will someday be a really wonderful Father. It was I who got the gift this year.

Just a few reasons why my Mom wins Grandma of the Year:
1. She has slept in a tent in the backyard with my kids this week. Twice.
2. She succumbed and "danced Greek" with Rowan last week at the new Greek restaurant in town with the restaurant staff, just because Rowan wanted to.
3. She took the time to prep the horses and took E and R horseback riding.
4. ... Something about homemade German Chocolate Cake and breakfast.... ?
